Review by Michelle:

I was totally devastated to have to leave Scarlett and Mason behind at the end of Euphoria, what I thought to be the last book in the Book Boyfriend series, by Erin Noelle. Euphoria captured my heart and firmly cemented the series in place as one of my all-time favorites. Finding out about the addition of Timeless was an unexpected treat. When I heard the news of its release I was actually bouncing in my seat with pure uncontainable glee. Timeless was everything I hoped for and more. Where Euphoria was the perfect ending to the series, Timeless is the cherry on top, the ideal addition to an already flawless and remarkable series. When it comes to the Book Boyfriend series I was absolutely gluttonous for more and Timeless is sheer decadence.

Other than the gift of more Mason, because Lord knows you can never have too much of him, my favorite thing about Timeless is how memories are expertly and superbly woven throughout the present filling in the blanks and providing the opportunity to experience all the momentous events that occurred during the years that passed between the end of Euphoria and its epilogue. Instead of just starting in from Mason’s return we follow Scarlett on a trip down memory lane to bask in the glory of and revel in Scarlett and Mason’s blissful life and love up to this point, to see how far they have come together and how much they have grown as individuals as well as a couple, and to gain a glimpse into an even bigger, brighter, and more promising future.

I absolutely loved the return to the book boyfriend theme with the ingenious way some of our favorite authors are worked right into the story as well as their shocking and amusing interaction with Scarlett. This was definitely not something I was expecting to be a part of this story but it certainly felt like a wonderful homecoming, returning to the roots of the series and acknowledging some significant people along the way. One thing I have praised Erin Noelle for time and again was being able to keep her readers on their toes and with the addition of this particular recollection she continues to surprise and delight in the most unanticipated ways.

I am so insanely bonded with and care so deeply for these fictional characters that I don’t think I could tell you a single moment while reading Timeless that I was not at least a little teary-eyed. Timeless is really just a splendid tying up of loose ends, the deliriously delicious icing on the delectable cake that is known as the Book Boyfriend series, and an all-around beautiful story of two souls finding their way back together over and over again and becoming stronger, happier, and better-off for it in the end. I am overjoyed to have been able to experience the path to Scarlett and Mason’s happy ending and cannot recommend this book or this series enough.
