They say the only good thing about hitting rock bottom is that it can't get any worse . . . or can it?
World famous boxing champ, Felix Sanchez, had it all—the fame, the fortune, and all the women any man could ask for. When the hours of partying followed by hours spent in court and in rehab begin to outnumber the hours he spends training, losing his title comes as no surprise to everyone. The world assumes he deserved to lose it.
Only those closest to Felix know the real truth behind his sudden downward spiral. And if Felix has his way, no one else ever will. With an uncertain future ahead of him, he heads back to his roots—5th Street—the gym that started it all for him. It's where he meets the humble but mighty little Ms. Ella.
The only times Felix had ever decided to forgo the usual meaningless fling and try a real relationship he was burned badly. Now the adorable but tenacious self-defense instructor has him considering this love thing one more time.
Then just when he begins to worry that his past is letting his possessive and jaded heart get the best of him, he's blindsided in the most brutal way—he's brought to his knees—to what could be the one low in his life he may never recover from.

Review by Yvette:
Elizabeth Reyes had her work cut out for her when it came to redeeming the playboy reputation of her newest 5th Street hero, Felix Sanchez. Therefore, it seemed fitting that his love interest, Ella Castellano, would be his complete opposite – innocent, humble, grounded in reality, and mature beyond her years. Felix is a celebrity whose fame has emerged not only from his boxing career, but from his turbulent personal life, and Ella is a far cry from Felix's typical arm candy with her petite frame and seemingly plain appearance. As unlikely a pair as they may seem, their romance is undeniably sweet, evoking all those butterfly-in-the-stomach feelings of having a new crush and experiencing those nerve-wracking moments of navigating a burgeoning relationship. Unfortunately for Felix and Ella, there are outside forces working against them, attempting to derail their road to Happily Ever After.
What I most love about the 5th Street series – aside from the swoon-worthy heroes, of course – is that the heroines are easy to relate to, no matter the difference in their age and/or profession. Ella teaches self-defense classes at the 5th Street Gym and, despite her young age, she has a quiet confidence that I appreciated for its simplicity. Although she is levelheaded and firmly grounded in the real world, Felix is the one person that could turn her world upside down. Despite her disapproval in Felix's headline-making personal and professional choices, Ella can't help but be attracted to him against her better judgment. While her character is nothing like the woman I imagined would’ve caught Felix’s attention, that’s exactly what makes her perfect for him. Their differences worked well together, with each complementing the other’s strengths and weaknesses.
I loved that Ella was a strong and confident character but I must admit that Felix captured my heart over the course of the narrative. Felix came as a complete surprise because, of all the characters in the series, he has grown the most from where he started. It was an unexpectedly emotional experience getting a glimpse into the side of Felix only a handful of people know about – a side that’s astonishingly vulnerable and insecure. If you had asked me prior to starting Felix, "sensitive", "thoughtful", and "romantic" aren't words I would've used to describe the title character, but Felix demonstrates all of these characteristics and more. Felix is an emotionally turbulent journey that evoked a number of intense reactions within me as I progressed through the story. This book beautifully wrapped up not only the story of a character that needed and deserved a chance at redemption, but also the stories of characters I have grown to know and love throughout the series.
