Iron Princess (Savage Trilogy #2) by Meghan March: Review Blitz

Blurb:

New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author, Meghan March, continues the story of her next devastating and damaged anti-hero in Iron Princess.

He’s a mystery. An enigma.
His very identity is a secret buried beneath layers of deception.
He’s also an addiction I can’t shake. An attraction I can’t fight.
And then I found out exactly who he is—a man more dangerous than the devil himself.
Now I need him in order to save everything that matters to me.
I have to pull back. Protect myself from the danger that haunts his every step.
Which would be easy . . . if I could stop myself from falling in love with him.

About the Author:

Meghan March is the author of contemporary and erotic romance novels.

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had. She loves hearing from her readers at meghanmarchbooks@gmail.com.

Michelle's Review:

Great news! While the cliffhanger at the end of Savage Prince may be a killer (pun intended), we do get some answers immediately upon picking up Iron Princess. Talk about instant gratification. If you waited to read Savage Prince until Iron Princess was released, I have to say I kind of hate you a little bit right now, with all the angst and turmoil those of us that read the book right away have experienced for weeks, yet I'm also pretty in awe of you. too. First for the patience and restraint you showed in waiting to read a Meghan March book, and also for your cleverness in waiting to do so, so you didn't have to put yourself through the wringer the way many of us did.

The biggest mystery of all in that first book had to be Temperance's mystery man. This go round we get some very valuable insight into the anonymous man as we volley back and forth between his and Temperance's points of view. We not only find out about the man behind the mask, but we get to know him intimately, in first person. We get to know where he comes from, we get to know what makes him tick, and we learn his deepest desires.

While our questions may be finally answered about Temperance's stranger, this book, to me, is all about our heroine. In this book, not only do WE begin to fully understand, but it seems Temperance also finally starts to appreciate and accept herself and who she is. To say that Temperance comes into her own in this one is an understatement. This time around Temperance accepts herself, accepts her past, accepts her desires, accepts her art, and even starts to accept what could be in her future. Her growth in this book is wonderful and powerful and refreshing. If you love a strong heroine, get ready, not only is Temperance one of the strongest, most dominant, and commanding women I can remember reading in some time, but she is on the road to embracing these traits, embracing herself, and embracing all the possibilities coming her way.

Thrilling, hot, gripping, and empowering, if Iron Princess doesn't keep you hooked on this series, I don't know what will. What will come of Rafe? What happens next? How can they work out their differences and meet somewhere in the middle? How can these two overcome all of their seemingly insurmountable obstacles? I have no idea, but I do know that I need some answers, like, yesterday! I look forward to the torture of each new book and it's tormenting ending and now wait on pins and needles for Rogue Royalty knowing that we are talking about Meghan March here, and there is no doubt, it will all be worth it in the end.
