Stay With Me (With Me in Seattle #9) by Kristen Proby: ARC Review

From New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes Stay With Me, an all new addition to the series that has sold more than a million copies to date, her beloved With Me In Seattle Series!

Amelia Montgomery has left her past behind her. With a beauty and fashion career that’s skyrocketing and a loving family around her, everything else is just junk in the rearview mirror.

Until it’s not.

When she has to drop out of the public eye, her cousin Jules offers her a new, temporary life on the Puget Sound. Her past may be catching up with her, but hope for the future is in Seattle.

Wyatt Crawford can’t figure out the enigmatic beauty who’s living next door. As an architect, he’s usually good at looking beneath the surface—but she barely even leaves her house.

Until she needs his help.

When she knocks on his door, how can he resist? It isn’t long before Wyatt and Amelia become more than just neighbors. But when he finally learns the truth, will the skeletons in her closet be too much for him to handle, or will he stay?

Yvette's Review:

My reaction when learning that Kristen Proby would be writing more books in her With Me in Seattle Series? Pure elation. I’ve been a huge fan of this series since the release of Come Away With Me in 2012 and I was sad to say goodbye to characters I had come to know and love when Forever With Me released. I was therefore shocked and ecstatic upon hearing that the author would be revisiting the series with new members of the Montgomery family. The four-year wait for Stay With Me was worth it, though, because it meant returning to the world of the fiercely loyal, tight-knit, overprotective Montgomery family.

Stay With Me, the newest addition to the With Me in Seattle Series, follows the story of Amelia Montgomery, a beauty and fashion vlogger, who’s relocated to Seattle with the help of her cousin, Jules, to escape messy divorce proceedings. It seems fitting that Amelia starts the next chapter in her life at the place where it all began: the house Jules and Natalie shared before they got their own happily-ever-afters. That her next chapter includes her handsome and friendly new neighbor, Wyatt Crawford, is a bonus. Thanks to flirty banter and combustible chemistry, things between Amelia and Wyatt get hot and heavy quickly, yet baggage from their previous relationships keeps intruding on their budding romance, making them work that much harder for their shot at a happy ending.

Like with all the books in the With Me in Seattle Series (and all of Kristen Proby’s books, for that matter), once I started Stay With Me, I couldn’t stop! I devoured every word of Amelia and Wyatt’s story, which kept me hooked from start to finish. Wyatt’s self-assuredness, generosity and kind heart made him the textbook definition of a swoon-worthy book boyfriend. He’s a genuinely great guy while also being incredibly sexy – a perfect match for Amelia, who’s broken, but fierce, surviving life’s curveballs with grace, humor, and a quiet strength. Their heart-meltingly sweet, scorching hot, whirlwind romance is an unputdownable, can’t-miss addition to the With Me in Seattle Series.

Maybe it was the familiarity of the story taking place in Jules and Natalie’s old house or maybe it was the nostalgia of seeing the gang back together but reading Stay With Me felt as if no time had passed since our last visit to the With Me in Seattle Series. I don’t know how many more books Kristen Proby plans to add to her the With Me in Seattle Series, but I will gladly read about every unattached man or woman of marriageable age that’s associated with the Montgomery family in any way, shape, or form. I already know of a few characters that fit the bill. Now it’s just a matter of (impatiently) waiting for their stories…
